REST API

Plain HTTP and JSON for scripts, CRMs and data pipelines. A free account with a verified e-mail address is required.

Authentication

Create a key under API keys and send it in the Authorization: Bearer header of every request.

Examples

curl "https://larger.io/api/v1/domains/example.com?mode=quick" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"

Lookup modes

mode=quick (the default) fetches the site over HTTP and costs 5 tokens. mode=full also renders the page in a browser to catch technologies injected by JavaScript and costs 100 tokens, limited to 1 a minute per account across the REST API and MCP. A result less than 6 hours old is reused for 1 token.

Results carry mode, cached, scanned_at, the version of each technology when known, and emails as {email, type} objects.

  • REST API: 60 requests a minute, 10 lookups a minute.
  • MCP server: 30 calls a minute, 3 lookups a minute.

Full lookups are limited to 1 a minute per account, shared by the REST API and the MCP server.

Token headers

Every counted response carries X-Tokens-Cost, X-Tokens-Remaining and X-Tokens-Limit.
